Phat Kaprhao Kai recipe
(Chicken in a creamy hot basil - chilli sauce)

Preparation:Clean the chicken and cut into bite sized pieces Wash the mushrooms and cut into halves Pound the chillies, garlic and salt in a mortar until ground Heat oil over medium heat and when hot stir fry the chilli - garlic mixture until fragrant. Add the chicken and mushrooms and stir fry while adding the water. Stir until the meat is tender. Add basil leaves and season with soy sauce and sugar. Serve hot with rice. |
